About Us
At Graneros Winter Nursery (GWN), we specialize in delivering high-quality counter-season breeding and seed multiplication services from Chile to the world.
Our story began in the 1990s, when Professor Isabel Lennon, a pioneer in the field, founded Lennon CIA Ltda to support American and European breeding programs. In the 2000s, she joined forces with agricultural producer Patricio Arias, combining experience and innovation to expand the scope of services.
In 2013, GWN was officially founded by Patricio and his daughter, Vivianne Arias, marking a new chapter of growth. Since then, we’ve evolved into a trusted partner for breeding programs of all sizes, known for our commitment to service excellence, traceability, and personalized attention.
Our main research station is now located in Machalí, in Chile’s VI Region—chosen for its ideal climate, water availability, and fertile soils.
